Your Care, Your Call.
Seeking treatment across borders shouldn’t blur the basics of what you are owed. This page outlines your rights as a patient, the responsibilities of your treating clinician, and where BeautsGO’s role as your concierge begins and ends. We believe in transparency — laying out our commitments to you in plain language.

01Scope of This Reference
This document serves as a guide to your rights when booking care through BeautsGO. It covers three distinct layers:
- Fundamental Rights: The generic rights you hold as a person seeking medical care.
- Clinical Obligations: The specific rights delivered at your destination clinic, governed by that country’s local laws and medical ethics.
- Concierge Commitments: The additional support and standards BeautsGO guarantees as your service provider.
This page describes existing rights granted by the laws of the country where you receive treatment. It sits alongside three other documents you should also read:
- The Terms of Service govern the contractual relationship between you and BeautsGO.
- The Medical Disclaimer explains what BeautsGO is and is not from a clinical-information standpoint.
- The Privacy Policy describes how we handle the personal and medical information you share with us.
02The Right to Clear Information
Before committing to any procedure, you are entitled to accurate and accessible information. BeautsGO commits to surfacing:
- Clinic Details: Legal name, licensing status, and verified accreditations.
- Clinician Profiles: Name, specialty, board certifications, and an honest assessment of their experience with your specific procedure.
- Procedure Specifics: Realistic outcomes, recovery profiles, and standard risks and complications.
- Transparent Costing: Indicative all-in figures, including what is (and isn’t) included, such as anaesthesia, transfers, and follow-up care.
- The Unknowns: If information is unavailable or unverified, we will state that clearly rather than provide guesswork.
03Informed Consent & Language Access
Informed consent is a non-negotiable process, not just a signature. Before any procedure, your clinician must ensure you understand the why, the risks, and the alternatives.
True informed consent at a BeautsGO partner clinic means:
- Direct Communication: The discussion happens with the clinician, not just administrative staff.
- Language Clarity: If the consultation is not in your native tongue, an interpreter should be present for the consent discussion.
- Mandatory Informed Consent: Before any procedure, you must sign a formal consent agreement, but only after you have exercised your right to ask questions in exhaustive detail and received clear, transparent answers. A signature should never be provided under pressure or haste, and it remains the clinician’s duty to ensure you are fully satisfied with the information provided before you commit.
- The Right to Withdraw: You may pause or stop at any point before the procedure begins (subject to the clinic’s specific cancellation and deposit policies).
04Choice, Second Opinions & Refusal
You retain full autonomy over your medical journey. Choosing a different path does not jeopardise your relationship with BeautsGO.
- Second Opinions: We encourage you to seek outside consultations for major procedures and will assist in preparing your medical records for review.
- The Right to Refuse: Deciding not to proceed, even on the day of the surgery, is a valid choice. We support your right to prioritise your comfort over a booking.
- Switching Providers: If you feel a different clinic in or out of our network is a better match, we will facilitate that transition.
05Dignity & Non-Discrimination
You have the right to be treated with respect regardless of nationality, gender identity, religion, or body type.
- Accommodations: You may request a clinician of a specific gender for sensitive exams, a chaperone, or culturally and religiously appropriate dietary and modesty adjustments.
- Zero Tolerance: Disrespectful conduct by any partner, be it a surgeon or a practitioner, is grounds for immediate escalation and potential removal from our network.
06Privacy & Medical Records
You are the owner of your health data.
- Confidentiality: BeautsGO protects your data per our Privacy Policy. The clinic manages your clinical records under the strict data-protection laws of their home jurisdiction.
- Access: You are entitled to copies of surgical reports, imaging, and lab results. BeautsGO will help you draft requests in the local language and follow up to ensure you receive your files.
07Complaints & Redress
If things don’t go as planned, you have three clear paths for resolution:
- Concierge Issues: For service-related complaints (transfers, communication), contact us at care@beautsgo.beauty.
- Clinical Issues: For medical or billing disputes, the primary venue is the clinic’s internal complaint process. We will help you draft these concerns and advocate for a timely response.
- Regulatory Escalation: If a clinical issue remains unresolved, you have the right to contact the destination’s medical regulator (for example, the Ministry of Health and Welfare in Korea). We will provide the necessary contact details for your specific case.
08Cross-Border Realities
International care requires an “eyes wide open” approach:
- Jurisdiction: Legal claims are governed by the laws of the country where treatment occurred. This may require local counsel and foreign-language proceedings.
- Insurance: Most domestic health insurance does not cover elective overseas care. We recommend securing specific medical-tourism insurance.
- Local Follow-Up: Ensure you have a clinician in your home country willing to manage your post-operative care (such as suture removal) before you travel.
09BeautsGO’s Specific Commitments
As your concierge, we pledge the following:
- Honesty First: We provide best-effort, verified information and disclose if we don’t know an answer.
- Active Advocacy: We are not neutral bystanders. If a clinic fails to honour its word, we advocate on your behalf and escalate to their leadership.
- Economic Transparency: We disclose our partnership models. As of today, BeautsGO does not accept commissions that conflict with providing neutral, patient-first advice.
- Responsive Support: We aim to acknowledge rights-related concerns within one business day.
