About

About Revision Facelift and Neck Lift

Revision facelift and neck lift, also called secondary facelift, corrects or refreshes the result of a previous face or neck lift. It fixes problems left from the first surgery, or restores a youthful look as natural aging continues over the years.
Because there is already scar tissue and changed anatomy, this surgery is more complex, it needs a specialist with advanced skill and experience.

What It Can Achieve

🔹 Refresh & Rejuvenate

  • Lift and tighten sagging skin and deeper tissues
  • Smooth cheeks, jawline, and neck
  • Restore clear definition between chin and neck

🔹 Correct & Refine

  • Improve symmetry and balance
  • Soften or hide old scars
  • Fix tight, stretched, or distorted areas like earlobes
  • Remove remaining fat or loose skin

🔹 Restore Softness

  • Often combined with fat grafting to bring back natural fullness
  • Can add laser or skin treatments to improve texture
  • May be done with eyelid or brow work for complete harmony

How It Differs From First Surgery

  • More complex: Surgeon works around old scars and changed tissue
  • Reuses old incisions: Cuts are placed in the same hidden lines around ears and hairline, no extra visible marks
  • Needs careful handling: Skin elasticity may be lower than before

Ideal Candidate

Ideal for clients:
  • Skin becoming loose again
  • Jowls or sagging returning along the jawline
  • Neck bands or fullness coming back
  • Loss of definition between chin and neck
  • Visible, wide, or thick scars
  • Unnatural “pulled” or tight look
  • Uneven shape or lopsided features
  • Distorted earlobes (“pixie ear”)
  • Loose skin or bands still visible on the neck
  • Jowls or sagging that was not fully corrected
