Dr. Yang Zhi Xiang

Dr. Yang Zhixiang is one of China’s most senior, decorated, and globally respected hair transplant specialists, Chief Expert and Medical Director of Bioscen Hair Transplant Group. A pioneer in Chinese aesthetic and reconstructive surgery, he developed scarless autologous hair transplant technology now used in over 50,000 procedures across Bioscen’s 42+ clinics. With 30+ years of experience, he has personally performed 10,000–18,000 transplants, including 300+ complex scar repair cases. He trained in Russia and Germany (no‑trace techniques), visited Japan for advanced study, and taught Korean surgeons BHT methods, earning the title Technical Mentor. Academically, he has published 60+ peer‑reviewed papers, co‑authored 11 textbooks, and led 8 national/provincial research projects. He became an ISHRS member in 2010 and holds the State Council Special Government Allowance, China’s highest honour for top experts.
