Dr. Takahiro Otani

Dr. Takahiro Otani began his career as an orthopaedic surgeon, performing approximately 200 procedures each year, before becoming Director of one of Tokyo’s most respected clinics specialising in exosome intravenous therapy. Having witnessed the limitations of surgery when treating degenerative and difficult health conditions, he shifted his focus to regenerative medicine, a move he sees as a natural progression that addresses the root causes of illness rather than just symptoms. Since taking charge at Smart Clinic Ginza in April 2025, he has maintained the clinic’s mission to meet unmet medical needs by offering advanced regenerative intravenous and cellular therapies for conditions that standard medicine struggles to resolve. His practice philosophy is built on supporting the body’s own healing capacity, aiming to give new hope to patients with health challenges that conventional treatments cannot improve.
