Dr. Sang Hoon Park

Dr. Sang Hoon Park is a legendary pioneer in Korean aesthetic surgery, founder and Director of ID Hospital, a 16‑floor flagship institution in Gangnam, Seoul, now one of the world’s most recognised plastic surgery centres. He performed Korea’s first cosmetic orthognathic surgery in 1995, turning reconstructive procedures into mainstream aesthetic treatments, and invented the V‑line T‑osteotomy and No‑Tie Orthognathic Surgery, setting industry standards. He is former Professor at University of Ulsan College of Medicine / Asan Medical Center, and Visiting Professor at New York University and University of Texas, USA. ID Hospital has over 30 board‑certified surgeons, holds Korea’s highest medical accreditation, and was certified by the Korea Record Institute for the largest volume in facial contouring and double‑jaw surgery. In 2023, he received the Minister of Health and Welfare Award for innovation and global leadership.
