Cookies, Kept Simple.
BeautsGO uses Google Analytics cookies — and only those. We don’t run advertising pixels, retargeting trackers, or third-party data brokers. This page lays out exactly what’s set, why, and how to switch any of it off.

01Scope of This Policy
This page describes the cookies set by beautsgo.beauty when you visit the site. It applies only to the BeautsGO website itself, not to third-party clinic sites we may link to or to Google’s wider products outside our site.
It sits alongside two other documents you should also read:
- The Privacy Policy describes how BeautsGO handles your personal and medical information overall, including what we do with the analytics data these cookies generate.
- The Terms of Service govern the contractual relationship between you and BeautsGO.
Where this policy and the Privacy Policy overlap on a point about cookies, the Privacy Policy is the binding mini-version inside that agreement; this page is the longer plain-English explanation. The two are kept in sync.
02What Cookies Are
A cookie is a small text file that a website asks your browser to store, then reads back on later visits. Cookies are how websites remember things between page loads or visits — for example, that you’ve already dismissed a notice, or that you’re the same anonymous visitor who came yesterday.
Two distinctions matter for this page:
- First-Party vs Third-Party: First-party cookies are set by the site you’re visiting. Third-party cookies are set by another domain that the page loads (for example, an analytics or advertising provider). BeautsGO sets two small first-party cookie sets — one for our consent banner, and one for page caching at the hosting layer — and one third-party cookie set: Google Analytics 4 (only after you consent).
- Session vs Persistent: Session cookies are deleted when you close your browser. Persistent cookies stay for a defined duration. The cookies we use are persistent (up to two years).
Beyond cookies, browsers also have local storage and session storage. BeautsGO does not currently use either for analytics or tracking purposes.
03Cookies BeautsGO Uses Today
The complete list of cookies set by BeautsGO as of the date at the top of this page:
| Name | Set by | Purpose | Duration |
|---|---|---|---|
| cmplz_* | BeautsGO (first-party, via Complianz) | A small set of consent cookies that record which cookie categories you accepted or declined, so the banner doesn’t reappear on every page. Set the moment you make a choice on the banner. | 365 days |
| _lscache_vary | BeautsGO (first-party, via LiteSpeed Cache) | A page-caching cookie used by our hosting layer to serve the correct cached version of a page (for example, when content varies for logged-in users versus visitors). It does not identify you or track behaviour. | Session / up to a few hours |
| _ga | Google Analytics 4 (only after you consent) | Distinguishes individual visitors with an anonymous identifier so we can measure aggregate traffic patterns. | 2 years |
| _ga_<container_id> | Google Analytics 4 (only after you consent) | Persists session state for the GA4 property, so that page views during one visit are linked into a single session. | 2 years |
One caveat: Google may rename or add cookies under its product line over time. Consult Google’s cookie documentation for the authoritative current list. If you ever notice a Google cookie set by our site that isn’t in the table above, it’s because Google’s product evolved — please tell us at care@beautsgo.beauty and we’ll update this page.
04Cookie Categories — What We Use, What We Don’t
Most cookie policies group cookies into four categories. Here is exactly where BeautsGO stands in each:
Strictly Necessary — Consent & Cache Cookies
Strictly necessary cookies are required for a site to function or to honour a legal requirement. BeautsGO doesn’t have a login, a cart, or a checkout, so we don’t set any cookies for those purposes. The two strictly-necessary cookie sets we do use are:
- Consent (
cmplz_*): Records your choice on the cookie banner so it doesn’t reappear on every page. Set the moment you make a choice on the banner, regardless of which categories you accept or decline. - Page cache (
_lscache_vary): Used by our hosting layer to serve the correct cached version of a page. It does not identify visitors or track behaviour.
Preferences — None
Preference cookies remember things like language choice or display settings. We don’t currently have any user-configurable preferences that need a cookie. None set.
Performance & Analytics — Yes, GA4 Only
We use Google Analytics 4 to understand which pages and topics matter to visitors in aggregate. The data we look at is pseudonymous (no names or contact information) and is used to improve the site, not to target individuals. The two cookies above are the entirety of our analytics footprint.
Advertising & Marketing — None
We do not run any of the following: Meta Pixel, TikTok Pixel, Google Ads conversion tags, Pinterest tag, LinkedIn Insight tag, retargeting cookies, or any third-party data-broker scripts. We don’t share visitor data with advertising networks. If we ever change this, see §07.
05Third-Party Cookies — Google Analytics 4
Google Analytics 4 is the only third-party service that sets cookies on visitors to BeautsGO. It is operated by Google Ireland Limited for visitors in the EU and EEA, and by Google LLC for everyone else, under Google’s privacy policy and terms of service.
How we configure GA4:
- We use the standard GA4 measurement. By design, GA4 does not log or store full IP addresses — IPs are used briefly for geolocation and then discarded, not retained for long-term analytics.
- We do not pass any user identifiers (your name, email, or other personal information) to Google.
- We do not enable Google Signals, advertising features, demographics, or remarketing audiences.
- The data is retained in Google’s systems for 14 months by default and then automatically deleted, as described in Privacy Policy §07.
For the binding mini-version of this disclosure inside the Privacy Policy, see Privacy Policy §09.
06Your Consent & Choices
Consent Banner
A cookie-consent banner is shown on your first visit to BeautsGO. Google Analytics 4 cookies are not set until you accept the analytics category on that banner — if you decline, or close the banner without accepting, GA4 is never loaded and no analytics cookies are written. Only the cmplz_* consent cookies described in §03 are set, so we can remember your choice.
You can change or withdraw your consent at any time using the Manage Consent control on the site (or the link in the footer). The methods below are additional, browser-level ways to control or block analytics — none of them break the site.
Browser-Level Controls
Modern browsers offer cookie and tracking controls in their settings:
- Safari: Intelligent Tracking Prevention is on by default and limits cross-site cookies. You can also block all cookies or clear them at any time under Settings → Privacy.
- Firefox: Enhanced Tracking Protection is on by default. Settings → Privacy & Security for finer controls.
- Chrome and Edge: Cookie controls are under Settings → Privacy and security → Cookies and other site data. Both browsers offer “Block third-party cookies.”
Google Analytics Opt-Out
For the most direct way to disable GA4 specifically, install Google’s official Google Analytics Opt-out Browser Add-on. Once installed, GA4 will not record your visits across any site that uses Google Analytics.
Private / Incognito Browsing
Browsing in a private or incognito window limits cookie persistence — cookies set during the session are discarded when you close the window.
Do Not Track and Global Privacy Control
Google Analytics 4 does not honour Do Not Track (DNT) signals by default, and our current configuration does not override that. If you rely on DNT or Global Privacy Control to opt out of tracking on most sites, please use the GA4 opt-out add-on or browser-level controls above for the most reliable opt-out on BeautsGO.
07Changes to This Policy
We may update this policy when we change how analytics is configured, when Google revises its cookies, or when legal and regulatory requirements move. The “Last updated” date at the top of this page is authoritative.
Our commitment. If we ever add a new tracker category — for example, advertising pixels, retargeting cookies, or third-party data brokers — we will update this page first, and roll out a consent banner before activating any such tracker. You will not silently start being tracked by something that isn’t documented above.
For material changes, we will post a notice on the site. Continued use of BeautsGO after a change becomes effective indicates acceptance of the updated policy.
