About

Why Choose Turkey

Turkey has become one of the world’s busiest destinations for hair transplants and cosmetic surgery. Its plastic surgeons performed 1,318,980 aesthetic procedures in 2025, the ninth-highest total of any country, and on average almost a third of their patients travel from abroad, about twice the global average. Residents of Great Britain alone made 196,000 trips to Turkey for medical treatment in 2024, more than to any other country.

Patients come for a combination that is hard to find in one place: surgeons who perform these procedures in high volume, hospitals set up for international patients, and Istanbul’s position within a few hours’ flight of Europe and the Gulf. That popularity has also attracted low-cost operators, and the UK government advises travellers to research any provider carefully. BeautsGO Beauty starts with the checks and the full treatment plan, then the price, so you know what is planned and what you are paying for before you book a flight. Send a few photos and your goals on WhatsApp, and your coordinator will come back with the hospital’s assessment and an itemised quote, free of charge.

Expertise

Beauty, Medical & Wellness Advantages

Turkey is one of the world’s leading centres for hair restoration and rhinoplasty, with surgeons who perform these procedures in exceptionally high volumes. Hair transplantation, for the scalp, beard and eyebrows, is named first among the treatments international patients choose Turkey for, according to USHAŞ, the country’s state health tourism company. In surgery, ISAPS data show Turkish plastic surgeons performed 76,190 rhinoplasties in 2025, the third-highest number in the world, alongside 74,290 liposuction procedures, 54,910 breast augmentations and 46,170 tummy tucks.

Hospitals Licensed for International Patients

Under Turkey’s 2025 health tourism regulation, every hospital and clinic that treats international patients must hold a Ministry of Health authorisation. The rules also require an international patient unit with foreign-language staff, complication insurance for surgical procedures, and a listing on HealthTürkiye, the government’s official health tourism portal. You can look up any hospital yourself on healthturkiye.gov.tr before you commit. Turkey is also home to 43 organisations accredited by Joint Commission International (JCI).

Hair Restoration for Scalp, Beard and Eyebrows

Under Turkey’s hair transplant regulation, procedures may only take place in licensed units inside hospitals, medical centres or polyclinics. Whether you want a fuller hairline, a denser beard or defined eyebrows, the right plan depends on your own hair and goals. Before you book, your coordinator obtains the doctor’s assessment of your photos, the estimated graft count and the proposed technique, so you can compare plans on substance.

Rhinoplasty and Body Contouring

Rhinoplasty is one of Turkey’s signature procedures, from refined, natural-looking reshaping to revision work. For the body, Turkish surgeons perform large numbers of liposuction, breast augmentation, breast lift and tummy tuck procedures each year. Many patients want to combine several operations in one trip; UK surgeons’ guidelines place long or multi-site operations in the highest-risk group and recommend staying two to four weeks afterwards. Your coordinator helps you plan the procedure and the length of stay together, so you do not fly home before your surgeon has seen you.

Transparent Quotes, Paid Directly to the Hospital

How much does a hair transplant or rhinoplasty in Turkey cost? It depends on the graft count or technique, the surgeon and what the hospital includes, which is why headline prices online are hard to compare. BeautsGO Beauty requests an itemised quote from the hospital that shows what is and is not included, at no cost to you. You pay the hospital directly, with no BeautsGO fee added. Turkish rules also require an itemised invoice with unit prices, and entitle you to free copies of your test results and scans on request.

Planning

Travel Information

Istanbul is one of the easiest cities in the world to reach. Turkish Airlines holds the Guinness World Record for flying to the most countries, and Istanbul Airport handled 84 million passengers in 2025. Direct flights take roughly 3 hours from Frankfurt, about 4 hours from London or Riyadh, and around 11 hours from Kuala Lumpur or Singapore. Istanbul was also the fifth most-visited city in the world in 2025, so hotels, restaurants and services for international visitors are everywhere.

Visa-Free Entry for Most Travellers

Citizens of most EU countries, the UK, the US, Canada, Saudi Arabia, the UAE, Qatar, Kuwait, Bahrain, Oman, Malaysia and Singapore can visit Turkey (Türkiye) for up to 90 days without a visa. Indonesian citizens can stay up to 30 days visa-free, and Chinese citizens have had 90-day visa-free entry since 2 January 2026. Most other nationalities can apply online at evisa.gov.tr. Make sure your passport is valid for at least six months.

How Long to Stay

Plan your trip around your recovery, not the other way round. UK NHS advice is to wait at least 5 to 7 days before flying after breast augmentation or liposuction, and 7 to 10 days after rhinoplasty or a tummy tuck; a rhinoplasty splint usually comes off at day 7. UK plastic surgeons (BAAPS) suggest 2 to 4 weeks after long or combined operations. There is no fixed rule for hair transplants, but plan to stay at least until your doctor has checked the grafts, and longer before a long-haul flight. Your coordinator confirms the right length of stay with your surgeon before you book flights.

Istanbul Between Appointments

Istanbul rewards a few unhurried days. See Hagia Sophia, the Blue Mosque, Topkapı Palace and the Grand Bazaar, or take a ferry along the Bosphorus between Europe and Asia; it is best to do the busier sightseeing before surgery and keep recovery days gentle. Turkey ranked joint second among Muslim-majority destinations in the 2025 Global Muslim Travel Index, behind only Malaysia, so halal dining and prayer facilities are the norm. Turkish food suits recovery well, from lentil soup and grilled fish to fresh meze and the famous Turkish breakfast.

Supported From First Message to Follow-Up

From your first WhatsApp message, your BeautsGO coordinator handles the hospital side of your trip: sharing your photos and history with the doctor, arranging your consultation, comparing your quote, confirming dates and keeping in touch after you return home. Hotels and airport transfers are arranged separately; ask your coordinator and we can point you to options, or tell you whether the hospital’s package already includes them. Language support comes from the hospital’s international patient unit. You focus on your result; we keep the treatment plan on track.
