Eliminate Sagging and Restore Your Silhouette | Achieve a Firmer, More Youthful Posterior

A butt lift is a surgical procedure that lifts, tightens, and reshapes the buttocks by removing excess, sagging skin and repositioning underlying gluteal tissues. It is the gold standard for patients whose skin has lost elasticity due to aging, significant weight loss, or post-bariatric changes. Unlike exercise alone, which builds muscle, a butt lift specifically addresses the “loose” skin and tissue to create a firmer, more elevated profile.

What You Will Achieve

Elimination of Sagging: Removes redundant, loose skin that causes the buttocks to look “deflated” or heavy.

Elevated Profile: Lifts the gluteal tissues to a higher, more youthful position on the body.

Refined Contour: Smooths the transition between the lower back, buttocks, and thighs for a more athletic shape.

Improved Symmetry: Corrects unevenness or drooping that may be present on one side.

Optional Volume Boost: Can be combined with autologous fat grafting (BBL technique) to restore roundness and projection in a single procedure.

Long-Lasting Firmness: Provides a permanent structural improvement to your posterior silhouette.

Combined Techniques

Lift Only: Focuses strictly on removing excess skin and tightening the area. Best for those with adequate volume but high skin laxity.

✨ Lift + Fat Grafting (BBL): Removes sagging skin while simultaneously injecting your own purified fat to add volume, curve, and projection.

Ideal Candidate

Suitable for adults aged 18 to 70+ who have reached a stable weight but struggle with skin laxity.

You are the perfect candidate if you:

  • Have deflated, sagging, or “flat” buttocks due to aging or genetics
  • Have undergone major weight loss or bariatric surgery and have loose skin
  • Find that squats and the gym cannot fix the “hanging” skin in the gluteal area
  • Are a non-smoker in good health with a stable BMI
  • Seek both a rejuvenation of the skin and, optionally, an increase in roundness
  • Have realistic expectations about surgical scar placement (usually hidden in natural creases)

Preparation

Stabilise weight prior to surgery. Quit smoking 4+ weeks. Discontinue blood thinners 2 weeks prior. Arrange compression garments and a BBL cushion if fat grafting is planned.

Followup Care

Wear compression garments 6-8 weeks. Use BBL cushion when sitting (if fat grafted) for 3-6 weeks. Walk gently from day 1. Avoid intense exercise 6 weeks. Attend follow-ups at week 1, 3 and 6.

FAQ

Frequently Asked Questions

What's the difference between a butt lift and a BBL?

A butt lift removes sagging skin and lifts existing tissue; a BBL adds volume through autologous fat transfer; the two can be combined for both lift and projection.

Will there be visible scars?

Lift-only procedures place scars in the natural gluteal fold or upper buttock area, hidden by underwear; pure fat-transfer BBLs leave only tiny cannula entry marks that fade significantly.
